Choose where the game will happen. We connect you with the team that knows the local terrain, equipment and travel.
When we say “in a forest”, we mean areas that are already developed or regularly used: around shelters, playgrounds, clearings and existing leisure facilities. Many games also take place in a garden, courtyard, park, hall or workplace without using woodland at all.

Choose woodland that already includes human activity, such as areas around shelters, playgrounds, managed clearings or existing leisure facilities.
Exclude sites of high ecological value, especially wetlands that are highly vulnerable to trampling.
IRTAG never runs night games in woodland with artificial lighting.
From April to mid-July, limit the playing area to locations already affected by human activity during the wildlife breeding season.
Do not play in federal game reserves or designated wildlife quiet zones.
Every woodland parcel has an owner. Their agreement should be obtained to prevent misunderstandings or problems.
Avoid logging areas and declining tree stands. Cancel or postpone the activity during storms or strong winds.
Respect all access restrictions protecting nature, forests and wildlife.
Generate no waste or harmful emissions and remove all equipment after the activity.
Some cantons apply altitude restrictions. IRTAG advises groups and suggests suitable alternative locations.
The activity must not obstruct other users. Organisers and players keep routes open and behave respectfully.
Share your town, group size and event type. The regional provider can suggest a suitable format.
